Basement - Ground Floor

Basement:

  • Garage: The basement houses a spacious garage, providing ample parking for staff and visitors. Its design maximizes accessibility and convenience.

  • Theater: A cozy theater adjacent to the garage creates an ideal space for small events, screenings, or presentations, blending functionality with comfort.

Ground Floor:

  • Reception Area: The ground floor features a welcoming reception area with an open layout. The space is designed to be bright and airy, with natural light streaming in to enhance the feeling of openness.

  • Canteen: Nearby, the canteen offers a social hub where occupants can enjoy meals in a casual setting. It is furnished with large windows and modern decor, creating a relaxing atmosphere.

Upper Floors (1st to 3rd):
  • Suspended Structure: The three upper floors are visually suspended above the ground, supported by two strikingly organic columns. These floors are made of slabs that appear to be simply attached to each other, giving them a continuous, flowing aesthetic. The architectural design emphasizes this illusion of lightness, making the structure seem almost weightless despite its size.

  • Slab Design: The slabs of each floor are designed with a minimalist approach, emphasizing their connection to one another without the appearance of heavy supports. This creates a smooth, seamless transition between floors, reinforcing the suspended effect. The floors almost seem to be stacked on top of each other without the typical bulk or heaviness, contributing to the building’s sleek, modern feel.

  • Classrooms: Within this unique structure are classrooms on each of the three upper levels. Spacious, well-lit, and connected by wide corridors, these rooms provide an optimal learning environment. The large windows framed by the wave-form concrete shell allow abundant natural light while maintaining a sense of enclosure.

  • Wave-Form Concrete Shell: The building’s upper floors are encased in a flowing concrete shell, designed to evoke a sense of movement. This wave-form structure enhances the visual appeal while providing additional support to the suspended floors. The contrast between the smooth slabs and the curving concrete shell creates a dynamic architectural composition.
